Cellulotech is happy to announce that Mr. Andrew Filler has joined Cellulotech’s Strategic Advisory Board.
Mr. Filler has over 25 years of experience in intellectual property management. He is currently the General Counsel and Vice President of Intellectual Property at Nanosys, a nanotechnology company where he created and manages the largest nanotechnology portfolio in the world with over a thousand patents. He is also the General Counsel at Sherpa Technology Group, a company specialized in strategy and M&A around Intellectual Property.
He was previously the Chief Patent Counsel at Caliper Life Sciences, a biotechnology company acquired for $600M by PerkinElmer, and a Senior Associate at Weil, Gotshal & Manges’ Technology Counseling Group. He has been named as one of the top two corporate IP attorneys in the Silicon Valley according to the San Jose/Silicon Valley Business Journal.
Mr. Filler graduated with distinction with a B.S. in mechanical engineering from Cornell University and holds a J.D. magna cum laude from University of San Francisco Law School.
